Hyatt & .   The Guide to Law Online contains a selection of Ohio legal, judicial, and governmental sources accessible through the Internet | Links provide access to primary documents, legal commentary, and general government information about specific jurisdictions and topics.

      The public library plans to drop off its first delivery of books to the law library on Friday. It will include children’s picture books, middle-grade chapter books, adult fiction and nonfiction.   Cincinnati Law is not unique by any means. With the exception of the very top tier, law schools, including Cincinnati Law, are facing a steep decline .

Do not leave them outside of the building. The Cincinnati Law Library Association is a private, nonprofit corporation which, until January 1,operated the law library in the Hamilton County Courthouse under the provisions of Ohio Revised Code § et seq.

Since January 1,the Law Library is governed by the Hamilton County Law Library. The Mercantile Library of Cincinnati is a membership library located in downtown Cincinnati, name of the Library refers not to the type of items in its collection but to the forty-five merchants and clerks who founded it on Ap as the Young Men's Mercantile Library Association.

The Law Library was officially created by the Board of Trustees of the Cincinnati College insome 41 years after the Cincinnati Law School opened. Inthen Dean William Howard Taft (Class of ) introduced the "Harvard method" of teaching at the Cincinnati Law School.

Note: Law Library staff are prohibited by law from giving legal advice (Ohio Rev. Code § and Ohio Supreme Court Board on the Unauthorized Practice of Law).

Please direct your questions for legal assistance to your lawyer or to one of the local bar associations. A University of Cincinnati alumnus has donated $, to support a center at the law school focused on race, gender and social justice.

Bill Morelli, A&S ’74, JD ’78, has created the Bill Morelli Endowment Fund for the Nathaniel R. Jones Center for Race, Gender, and Social Justice at the College of Law. Their library depends solely on new donations to fill their shelves.
